How we collect, use and protect your information across the Centerspace website, booking platform and mobile app.

01Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Centerspace Coworking ("Centerspace", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you visit centerspacecoworking.com, use our online booking platform at bookings.centerspacecoworking.com, or use the Centerspace mobile app (together, the "Platforms"). It applies to visitors, members and anyone who enquires about our Kottayam or Ettumanoor centres.

By using our Platforms or sharing your details with us — for example through a booking form, a WhatsApp enquiry, or the app — you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platforms.

02Information we collect

We keep the information we ask for to a minimum, and collect it only when you choose to share it with us:

Information you provide directly

  • Contact details — your name and phone number, when you submit a "Book a Visit" enquiry, an "Enquire Now" message, or sign up on the booking platform or app.
  • Booking details — your preferred centre (Kottayam or Ettumanoor), preferred date, and any message or requirements you add.
  • Account details — if you create an account on our booking platform or app, we collect the information needed to set it up, such as your name, phone number and email address.
  • Payment-related information — when you pay for a desk, cabin, meeting room or package online, our payment partner Razorpay processes your payment details. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank account numbers — see Payments below.
  • Communications — records of enquiries and messages you send us, including via WhatsApp, phone, email or the app, so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation.

Information collected automatically

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or other third-party tracking tools on our website. The booking platform and app may automatically collect basic technical information needed for them to work correctly — such as device type, app version and error logs — but this is not used to build advertising profiles.

03How we use it

We use your information only for purposes connected to running Centerspace and communicating with you, including to:

  • Respond to enquiries and confirm visit or booking requests;
  • Process bookings and payments for desks, cabins, meeting rooms and packages;
  • Manage your membership or account, and provide member support;
  • Send booking confirmations, receipts and service-related updates;
  • Maintain the security, reliability and proper functioning of our Platforms;
  • Meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

04Who we share it with

We share information only where it is necessary to provide our services:

  • Razorpay, our payment gateway partner, to process online payments securely;
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to send us an enquiry via a WhatsApp link — that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy once it opens in the app;
  • Google Maps, when you use a "Get directions" link, which opens Google's own service;
  • Service providers who help us operate the Platforms (for example, hosting or app-store distribution), under obligations to protect your data;
  • Authorities, where required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

05Payments

Online payments made through our booking platform or app are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway. When you pay online, your card, UPI or net-banking details are entered directly into Razorpay's secure payment page — Centerspace does not see or store your full card number, CVV or banking credentials. Razorpay's own privacy and security practices apply to that transaction.

06Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain accurate business and financial records, and meet our legal obligations — after which it is deleted or anonymised. Enquiry messages sent via WhatsApp remain in that chat thread in line with WhatsApp's own retention practices.

07Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

  • Confirm what personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date;
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons;
  • Stop sending you non-essential communications.

08Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data appropriately protected.

09Children's privacy

Our Platforms and services are intended for people aged 18 and above who are enquiring about or using a coworking space. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our Platforms or services change. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do. Significant changes will be reflected here, and continued use of the Platforms after an update means you accept the revised policy.
